HOOD: Fabricated of extruded aluminum alloy with minimum thickness of 0.72 inches. Hoods formed to fully enclose coiled slats and reel mechanism and act as a weather seal. Provide fully enclosed box with back plate when required. Hoods available up to 12" square. Hoods 8" and above are made from .040" extruded aluminum.

TRACK : Extruded aluminum alloy of .090 thickness with baked enamel finish with weather bond pile seals.

BOTTOM SLAT: Extruded aluminum alloy .050 double wall with weather seal along bottom.

END FRAMES: Box end frames formed of die cast aluminum or zinc alloy made to match hood size.

REEL--4Omm: For manual operation, formed of .065 thickness extruded aluminum seamless round tube, 6063 T5.
REEL--6Omm: For electric operation, formed of .070" thickness extruded aluminum octagonal tube, 6063 T5

REEL MECHANISM: Provided with pulleys, guide terminals, bearings, strap guide with weather seal for internal wall and strap assembly. Also provided with steel safety spring, automatic locking device and provisions to prevent accidental unwinding of shutters.

CONTROLS

MANUAL
HAND COILER: Coiler box with polypropylene pull strap drive and swivel mounting for wall. For shutters up to 25 lbs.

3 TO 1 CRANK COILER-LD/HD: PVC box for wall or frame mounting with 3 to 1 geared reduction, polypropylene strap drive with a removable chromium plate steel handle that folds flat against wall. LD for shutters up to 50 lbs. or the HD model to 75 lbs. or as an optional replacement for the hand coiler.

GEAR DRIVE FOR SHUTTERS: AVAILABLE AS OPTION FOR SHUTTER TO 65 LBS. IN 5/1, 8/1, and 10/1 RATIOS.

ELECTRIC
Tube mounted motors in accordance either UL & CSA specifications in various capacities.
